Progress. Slow progress.

We finally got the garden planted! Doesn’t it look like a lot of out of focus bare dirt?

I promise there’s a few plants in there.

At least this plant which I bought last fall for a few dollars because it was basically dead is doing well!

I built this necklace holder all by myself. Well, I bought the pegs, and Ken helped me drill the holes straight because it was hard to do it by myself. So I cut and routed (routered?) the piece of juniper I guess.

This is how we spent Saturday. And by we I mean Ken. I was just the assistant.

And THIS is what we spent all day trying to replace. The timing belt in my Civic. Apparently it needs to be replaced every 105,000 miles. It looked pretty good to me… Ken says I have to get a new car before the next 105,000 miles is up.

That white and purple plant is cute. Do you know what it is?

It’s actually three clematis plants all planted together. The third one is just flowering and it’s a pretty dark red!
