Mayan ruins, at long last.

Day 2 was a sea day. We spent the day exploring the ship, swimming, working out, and had to get dressed up for dinner. I knew that wedding dress would come in handy some day again. Actually it came in handy twice. There were two formal nights.

Our dinner table was next to a big window in the back of the boat, which became more useful as we headed south and west and sunset got later so we could see out.

Day 3 we made port in Cozumel, Mexico, where we all went to see Mayan Ruins together.

Perhaps not as impressive as the mainland pyramids, but I was still thrilled to finally see some after studying them when I was, what, eight or nine?

Cozumel is rather beautiful.

My inlaws had a room at the stern of the boat with a wraparound balcony which had enough seating for all 6 of us. It was quite decadent.
