Garden progress

Peas are up.

Well, a few of them. Most of them didn’t come up. Sad, but it was really too late for peas anyway. I have since re-planted the rows with beans. Ken was right, we do need more garden space. Maybe next year we’ll put in a lower terrace. I’m so done working with concrete for now though.

Note also the elm seeds. In the tradition of my elders, I have planted my garden beneath a pesky elm tree which drops its seeds in a timely manner onto the freshly prepared soil.

The tomatoes, tomatillos, and peppers are going in the garden tonight.

(Dear Lisa, please stop overexposing your pictures.)

My babies are growing so big… *Sniff* Hope they live when they get into the garden.
